Public Policy Voter Information
Voter Registration
Our branch works closely with the League of Women Voters Fairfax Area to support Candidate Forums for races in this area. Members help staff events which encourage local residents to become aware of the races, candidates and to vote in elections. The Reston-Herndon branch has been actively involved in the Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign and is in full support of both early and absentee voting opportunities, especially a challenge as the Coronavirus pandemic continues. Our branch will participate, again this year, in “Reclaim Our Vote,” where AAUW members compose postcards to be sent to residents in the fall.
